Enter our latest competition for the chance to be paid to write!

This competition is now closed.

We’re pleased to announce that all entrants have now been notified and that the Overall Winner of our Mouse Stories competition is:

Fay is an emerging student writer, who specialises in poetry and fiction. She is currently based in the School of the Arts, English and Drama at Loughborough University and is working hard to complete the final year of her undergraduate degree.

We’d like to congratulate Fay on her win and wish her the best of luck as the new writer at Elouise Makes.

Rosie, founder of the jewellery makers, had this to say about Fay’s entry:

“For me, this story is the clear winner. I loved the beginning and the end, and everything in between. I really enjoyed reading about Edie trying to tread in the sea of rolling peas, and the orange life-ring. This story is optimistic and symbolises that ‘help is coming’ as it turns dreams into reality for the mice in the story. It’s tone is spot on and it focused on everything I had hoped it would! Plus, it has a great title. I really like how Edie plays a central role in this story.”
