Today’s writer is Chris Wilkinson
Chris is a third-year student of History & Politics at Nottingham Trent University. He’s been involved in the NTU Debating Society as both Treasurer and President and he occasionally writes for his own political blog, as well as conducting research into old film and television – especially missing media. When Chris isn’t writing or engaged in debate, he enjoys video games, touring art galleries and listening to music.
Much of Chris’s stylistic influence stems from science fiction and thriller writers; Stephen King, H. G. Wells, Philip K. Dick to name a few. He particularly enjoys writing ‘out of the ordinary’. The content of Chris’s work is mostly inspired by personal events as he believes that writing something specific to your person is much more gratifying and engaging.
Chris’s piece, ‘The Lollipop Man’, will be published in Issue 5 of The Purple Breakfast Review when it is released next week!
