Our Four Strands are designed to help you easily navigate our content and discover what section of The Student Wordsmith is right for you. Each strand encompasses and offers different activities, all of which you can read about in more detail on our Four Strands page!
Support Packages
New for 2018! We now offer Creative Writing Starter Packages to help you on your writing journey. Currently we have two packages on offer: Exposition and Rising Action! Our Writers Packs will be available to purchase soon!
Exposition
Our Exposition package is our basic package, offering help and support to start your writing journey, which is aimed at new or novice writers! This package includes a weekly email with writing exercises, bespoke goal sheet, competitions and writing news and our ‘Tips and Tricks’ starter pack with infographics, motivational tips an advice for breaking out of a writing slump! You can sign up for a 1 month (£12) or 3 month (£30) depending on what you need.
Rising Action
Our Rising Action package is the next package up from Exposition! You will receive everything from the Exposition package AS WELL AS a weekly webinar, fortnightly feedback on a piece of work and the chance to take part in our fortnightly ‘Writers Challenge’! Rising Action comes in either a 1 month (£15) or 3 month (£40) package.
Bespoke Services
Just in case the support you need isn’t covered in our packages, we also offer bespoke support services which break down into two sections, Read and Review and Mentoring.
Read and Review
Do you have a piece of work you need reviewing or want some feedback on your latest manuscript? We can help! Our Read and Review service gives you the option of having one of our team members read, review and give feedback on your work which we can tailor to suit all types of writing and budgets! Mentoring
Another bespoke service that we offer is the chance to have mentoring or coaching on your writing with our founder, Dr Sophie-Louise Hyde! Sophie’s mentoring can be tailored to suit all writers, needs and budgets for that specialist 1-2-1 guidance and support that you need on your journey towards publication.
